En Carles Miravitlles, director-fundador de l'ICMAB, ens ha deixat

Lamentem profundament la mort del nostre benvolgut amic i company, el Prof. Carles Miravitlles, fundador de l'ICMAB l'any 1986 i director del centre durant 21 anys, del 1986 al 2008. En Carles ens ha deixat el dia 16 d'abril de 2023, a l'edat de 80 anys.

 The awards ceremony took place on Friday, 10 February 2023 at the Library of the University Campus in Manresa. Xavier Obradors made the speech presenting the awardee and highlighting the merits of her career.

María José Sanz, director of the Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3), takes over the presidency of the Alliance of Severo Ochoa Centers and María de Maeztu Units (SOMMa) replacing María Blasco, director of the Spanish National Cancer Research Center (CNIO).

Visit of the CSIC President at ICMAB | ICMAB-CSIC

The CSIC president visits the institution's centers in Catalunya

Eloísa del Pino visited some of the CSIC centers in Catalunya to meet the staff and discuss the needs and challenges of the institutes. She has been able to tour emblematic infrastructures such as the IMB-CNM Clean Room and the Nanoquim and Nanbiosis platforms at ICMAB; or the Automated X-ray Crystallography Platform at IBMB.
