Mercedes Linares

Hi everyone! My name is Mercedes Linares Moreau, I am a new postdoc at ICMAB starting with a Beatriu de Pinós fellowship in the group of Dr. Esther Barrena (PCSI). I obtained my PhD in Physics from UNSAM (Argentina) and later worked for several years at Graz University of Technology (Austria). I am specialized in porous thin films synthesis and advanced surface characterization, in particular with in situ and environmental Scanning Probe Microscopies. Outside of work I enjoy music, videogames and board games. As a student I did some research stays at ICMAB long ago, and found a very nice atmosphere. I’m excited to be part of ICMAB again and looking forward to see you around!
