Kashaf Ahsan

23 January 2025

I am Kashaf from Pakistan, and I joined ICMAB in December 2024 as a PhD candidate. I am honored to work under the supervision of Dr. Esther Barrena on the exciting topic of microstructure, nanomorphology formation, and stability of non-fullerene acceptor active layers. My research focuses on understanding the structural and morphological properties of these advanced materials to enhance the stability and performance of next-generation organic solar cells.
With a Master's degree in Applied Physics and specialization in Material Science, I am passionate about contributing to sustainable energy solutions through rigorous research and innovation.
Outside the lab, I enjoy exploring nature, as it provide a sense of calm qualities essential for a researcher.

My life motto is: "Building a sustainable future through innovation, precision, and perseverance."
