Espe Medina
Hey, I'm Espe! I'm from Madrid, but I've been living in Barcelona for 7 years. During my PhD, I worked at Sant Pau Research Institute developing novel in vivo models for their treatment with protein nanoparticles. Now, I will use my biological background to do research at Gerard Tobias' group at ICMAB, including characterizing the behaviour of their mesoporous silica nanoparticles in vivo. I look forward to learning as much chemistry as I can, and I also hope the group will benefit from my expertise in animal models and biomedical research!
