How we commemorated the 11F and 8M at ICMAB
We prepared many different activities to commemorate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the 11th of February, and the International Women's Day, the 8th of March
For this year, the Gender Equality and Diversity Committee (CIGiD) organized a series of activities regarding the challenges of women with different roles and backgrounds in science and to generate collective reflection on how to make science more equalitarian. These activities were complemented by the participation of different researchers in external initiatives and the exhibition of drawings at ICMAB's Hall from School José Echegaray students in the framework of the 11F.

Expositions: books and drawings!
At ICMAB hall we had during this month two exhibits: one of drawings made by students of the Escola José Echegaray school (our partners in the MAGNET alliance), and another of books related to feminism, equality and diversity. This last exhibition was organized by the CiGiD. Those books included, for example, "El segundo sexo", by Simone de Beauvoir, or "Feminism for the 99%", a manifest by Cinzia Arruzza, Tithi Bhattacharya and Nancy Fraser.
