Round table: "Women in STEM: how do culture and origin impact science?"

The Gender Equality and Diversity Committee kindly invites you to the following round table, to commemorate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, on 11 February, and the International Day of Women, on 8 March

In this round table, the impact of different backgrounds on how science is conducted will be discussed. Cultural aspects of science, as well as issues of accessibility, will be explored from multiple perspectives. The event will be led by Paula Mayorga (Nanomol-bio), Karla Mena (MMFO), Samar Gharbi (eMolMat), Manoko Maubane (NANOPTO), and Muling Zeng (NN), women scientists from diverse backgrounds who will shed light on this important yet often overlooked topic. Felip Sandiumenge and Huixia Lu will be the moderators.
