20th National School of Molecular Materials

From February 22 to 26, 2026, the 20th edition of the National School of Molecular Materials (ENMM) — a well-established forum for training and exchanging ideas in the field of functional molecular materials, will be celebrated in Sitges (Barcelona), at the Hotel Ibersol Antemare,

Aimed at postgraduate students and young researchers in Chemistry, Physics, Nanoscience, and Engineering, the school will address the most relevant advances in the design, characterization, and application of molecular materials in areas such as electronics, energy, biomedicine, catalysis, and quantum technologies. The school will feature specialized seminars given by experts, combining key fundamentals with cutting-edge research.

In 2026, the school will celebrate a very special edition: its 20th Edition! Over thirty years of history have turned this initiative into a meeting point for the scientific community. The organizers would like this edition to serve as a recognition of all those who, through their vision and dedication, have made this journey possible.

The school is organized by researchers Marta Mas-Torrent (e-MolMat group) and Imma Ratera (Nanomol-Bio group), from ICMAB-CSIC, and Daniel Maspoch and Marta Sanmartí, from ICN2.
