The awards ceremony took place on June 18, 2019, in the afternoon, at the Barcelona Biomedical Research Parc (PRBB). The finalists, with their teachers and family, attended the event.

The contest is aimed to encourage the creativity and the innovative capacity of the young students, and their idees to improve and face the current social challenges with research and technology.

CATEGORY: Idees to improve the health and nutrition of the citizens

Premi pel seu grau d’innovació científica, així com per la concreció en la presentació i el bon plantejament i argumentació de la proposta, a Aina Vilar i Carlota Garcia de l’Escola Pia de Granollers per la idea: Desenvolupar una substància química injectable amb nanopartícules, que s'alliberin amb calor local, per regenerar de manera més ràpida i eficaç el teixit ossi.

Menció d’honor, per la seva original presentació, pel grau d’innovació i importància social,a Aina Fernández, Alexia Palomero i Martina Villar, de l’Institut XXV Olimpíada, per la idea: Eliminar les plaques amiloides que provoquen l'Alzheimer amb ferrofluids dirigits amb nanorobots.

Premi per apuntar noves vies d’investigació en la millora de la qualitat de l’aire de les ciutats i la qualitat de vida de les persones,a Marta Minguillón i Carla Mandado del Col·legi Immaculada Concepció, per la idea: Modificar genèticament les plantes perquè produeixin més oxigen i millorar així la qualitat ambiental de la ciutat i la qualitat de vida de les persones.

Premi pel seu grau d’innovació tecnològica, importància social i perquè aporta possibles aplicacions de desenvolupament,a Carlota Unanue, Daniela Guerra i Marina Moré de l’Escola Sagrat Cor Diputació, per la idea: Desenvolupar una APP que mostri el nivell de contaminació de l'aire que respires i t'indiqui la ruta pels carrers menys contaminats per millorar la salut dels ciutadans
