The paper 'Cocineros moleculares', awarded with the Real Sociedad Española de Física (RSEF) – Fundación BBVA Physics Award

The paper, authored by Daniel Martín Jiménez of the SURFACES group at ICMAB, has won in the category of Best Article in a RSEF publication. 

The article has been published in the Revista Española de Física. The jury highlighted the originality of the article in presenting the fundamentals and practical application of nanotechnology. The parallelism established between nanotechnology and molecular cuisine, two fields in which our country stands out internationally, allows the reader to become familiar with the basic procedures in these fields in a pleasant, close and rigorous way.

As the jury stated, the article succeeds in presenting the current situation and future challenges of nanotechnology.

Since 2008, the Real Sociedad Española de Física (RSEF) – Fundación BBVA Physics Awards have annually recognised creativity, effort and achievement in the field of physics in order to stimulate professionals who carry out their work in research, secondary and university education, innovation, technology and dissemination.
