In March, as the academic year reaches its midpoint, students begin to think about the following year, especially if it is a couse when they have to make an important choice. The Saló de l’Ensenyament, the exhibition that brings together most of the educational offerings in Catalonia, has become an annual event for many students, teachers, and families.

At the venue, attendees can find information about post-compulsory studies (both university and non-university), as well as spaces designed to help students reflect on their choices. Inside the fair, there are two special areas: the Àgora and Espaiciència. The Àgora is a space where dialogue is encouraged and short talks are given on both technical and personal aspects of choosing a study path. Espaiciència is the section where students’ scientific curiosity is stimulated through different interactive activities.

Activities such as the quantum levitating train not only foster the curiosity for science of students but also bring them closer to the state-of-the art research in the materials field and inspire them for their academic future.
