From 20 to 24 October of 2025, the UAB will host the third edition of its Innovation Week organized by the UAB Research Park (PRUAB).
This is an event where the UAB showcases its ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship and brings the innovative technologies and knowledge generated on campus closer to business and society. The goals of this event are well-known: highlighting UAB's ecosystem of innovation from the perspective of different agents, sectors, and groups, connecting this ecosystem to the business sector, connecting UAB research with the challenges of the B30 territory, fostering relationships between researchers and entrepreneurs from various fields of knowledge to enhance the competitiveness of business initiatives, and finally promoting an innovative and entrepreneurial spirit and boosting female entrepreneurship.
Innovation Fair: 21 October 2025
The main activity of this Innovation Week will be the Innovation Fair (Fira de la Innovació) to be held on Tuesday 21 October, at Hotel EXE Campus. This is a day of engaging conversations between researchers and the business sector, with knowledge transfer being the center of these talks.
The ICMAB participants (both spin-offs and research groups) will be:
- Nanomol-Tecnio (research unit formed by Nanomol-Bio and eMolMat, represented by Guillem Vargas)
- Delbios Pharmaceuticals SL (spin-off represented by Enrique Vilalta)
- LabsinLove SL (spin-off represented by Miquel Nuez-Martínez)
- Functional Nanomaterials and Surfaces (FunNanoSurf research group represented by Coral Herranz)
Other activities of the week will be:
- Emprèn UAB: generant spin-offs i start-ups des de la universitat
- Aprèn a innovar disruptivament!
- Innovant en salut: realitat virtual i immersiva a l’atenció primària
- Ciència i emprenedoria en femení, among many other different activities.
