ICMAB offers 19 exciting research opportunities for students through CSIC JAE Intro 2025

The ICMAB is pleased to announce the CSIC JAE Intro 2025 program, an exciting opportunity for undergraduate and master’s students to gain hands-on research experience in cutting-edge scientific projects.

What is the JAE Intro program?

The JAE Intro (Introduction to Research at CSIC’s Institutes) is a prestigious internship program designed to introduce students to scientific research under the guidance of top researchers at CSIC institutes, including ICMAB. The program provides financial support and a unique chance to develop research skills in materials science, nanotechnology, chemistry, and physics.

ICMAB offers nineteen research projects

We are pleased to announce our participation in the JAE Intro 2025 program, offering nineteen different research fellowships for undergraduate and master's students interested in cutting-edge scientific projects:

Conditions of the fellowships

  • Duration: 7 consecutive months
  • Monthly stipend: €600 (Total: €4,200)
  • Requirements: 6.50 or higher GPA for double degree studies; those belonging to the fields of cultural industries (design, animation, cinematography and audiovisual production); electrical engineering, electronic engineering and telecommunications engineering; industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, automatic engineering, engineering of the industrial organisation and navigation engineering; computer engineering and of systems; chemical engineering, materials engineering and environmental engineering natural. 7.50 or higher GPA for the rest of degrees.
  • Candidates:
    • may be enrolled in an undergraduate degree of 240 ECTS in the academic year 2024-2025 and have completed at least 75% of the credits (ECTS) corresponding to the degree.
    • may be enrolled in a degree of at least 300 ECTS in the academic year 2024-2025 and have completed at least 80% of the credits (ECTS) corresponding to the degree.
    • may be all those who are enrolled in a double degree in the academic year 2024-2025, and who have completed at least 80% of the credits (ECTS) corresponding to the degree.
    • may be those who are students of an official Master's Degree University in the academic year 2024-2025 or enrolled in an official Master's Degree University in the academic year 2025-2026.

The application deadline follows the schedule outlined in the official call for the JAE Intro 2025 fellowships (now extended to 9 May 2025).
