Ferran Macià in Radio Kanal Barcelona talking about neuromorphic computing

The radio programme "Tercer Harmònic" from Radio Kanal Barcelona is a science and technology outreach programme for the general public. Communications, radio, digital education, internet, social networks, etc. are some of the main topics. Ferran Macià, from the MULFOX group, was at the programme on May 9, 2018, in the section "The materials of the future" to talk about neuromorphic computing.

    The instrument, developed in the framework of the European project KardiaTool, contains a biosensor chip developed in the Clean Room of the IMB-CNM, and functionalized magnetic nanoparticles synthesized at ICMAB, key to detect the biomarkers found in saliva. It is a quick Point-of-Care saliva test that does not require specialized personnel.
