Abstract
Discover how nanomaterials are transforming the construction sector toward a more sustainable future. Taking advantage of the fact that Barcelona is this year’s World Capital of Architecture, this activity allows us to connect scientific innovation with the challenges and opportunities of contemporary urban architecture.
We will learn about research in building-integrated photovoltaics, a technology that makes it possible to generate clean energy directly from façades and rooftops. We will also explore an innovative project involving multifunctional windows developed using sustainable methods, capable of providing both visual comfort and energy efficiency.
We will understand how these “nano” solutions can reduce environmental impact and open up new possibilities in the design of smart, environmentally friendly buildings.
This talk will be in Catalan.
