Department: Molecular Nanoscience and Organic Materials
I have achieved my degree in Chemistry in 2017 by the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC). I spend my third year abroad, as ERASMUS, in the University of Leeds (United Kingdom).
During the last months of my degree I worked at the Nanomag group (USC) doing synthesis of metallic nanoparticles, before moving to Barcelona to do a Master degree in Advanced Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at the UAB. I did my final Master´s Thesis at the Institute of Material Science of Barcelona (ICMAB) based on “Near-Infrared photoswitching of surface potential: nanoscale structuration of donor-acceptor molecules as SAMs”, achieving the best mark (with honors).
After my Master´s I have worked a few months at Medcom Advance company, in Tarragona, were I was responsible for the synthesis of silver nanoparticles and its characterization.
Currently I am doing my PhD, since ends of 2018, based on Organic Radicals for Biological Applications in the NANOMOL group at ICMAB, under the supervision of Dr. Imma Ratera.
Nanoscience and nanotechnology, more specifically, donor-acceptor systems and radical molecueles for a future application into real devices.
I am also interested in the field of biochemistry and biotechnology
