Two ICMAB/Nanoselect articles chosen as 2008 highlights by superconductor Science and Technology

The articles report investigation on high critical current superconducting thin films and the analysis of the vortex pinning mechanism and the design, construction and test of a superconducting motor based on bulk ceramic tiles.

APPROVED TECHNOLOGY-VALUING PROJECT ON COATED CONDUCTORS DEVELOPMENT

On 19th February 2009, the Center for Innovation and Business Development (CIDEM) from the Generalitat de Catalunya published the list of approved projects aimed at activities on creating-value technologies by technology-offering institutions. 

The objective of the call covered three different project targets: 1) technology-valuing projects from a precompetitive stage to a proof-of-concept or prototype phase, 2) assessing and reviewing of accumulated knowledge stock from institutions with valuing chances, 3) fusion and stable collaboration structures among partners from the Innovation Network from Generalitat de Catalunya (Xarxa IT) and associated industries.

WG4 Meeting, 29 October
