Transportation from Barcelona centre to Serhs Campus Hotel (11emscf venue):
Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) lines
Line S2: Barcelona-Sabadell, stop at BELLATERRA station
Line S55: Barcelona-Universitat Autonoma, stop at BELLATERRA station

Both lines depart from Barcelona city stations: Catalunya, Provença, Gràcia, Muntaner and Sarrià; and also Sant Cugat and Sant Joan (outside Barcelona)

The traveling time from Barcelona downtown is about 30 minutes, the cost is 2€ and the frequency every 10 minutes

Public transport involves the combination of the two itineraries described above.

English is the official language of the congress.

Conference Name Tag
All participants must register and wear their name tag during all 11emscf sessions and events.

Information for presenters
All keynote and oral presentations must be given to the organization the day before at the preview room (“Sala MARIE CURIE”, follow indications)

Plenary lectures:
Time : 40 minutes + 5 minutes for questions

Keynotes:
Time : 25 minutes + 5 minutes for questions

Oral communications::
Time : 15 minutes + 5 minutes for questions

Poster communications:
The space for poster exhibition is shown on the map. The dimensions of the panels will be 140cm x 95 cm.
There will be two poster sessions:  
Session A - Monday 14:10-15:30 17:20-18:30                                                                Session B - Tuesday 14:10-15:30 17:20-18:30                                                               
Posters corresponding to Session A should be set-up on Sunday 4 May from 16:00 and removed on Monday 5 may at 18:30                                 
Posters corresponding to Session B should be set-up on Monday 5 May from 18:30
The panels will be numbered with the codes assigned to each poster.
There will be poster prizes which will be announced at the end of the conference.

Location of 11emscf sessions into Serhs Campus Hotel
The plenary lectures will take place at the room “Sala ARNAU DE VILANOVA” shown on the map (see indications on site).
The three parallel sessions will take place at the three different rooms: “Sala ARNAU DE VILANOVA” and “Sala LLUIS VIVES I and II” (see indications on site)

Exhibition
There will be space for exhibition (shown in the map) with participation of the following companies:

Lunches will be served on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at “Sala MARTÍ I FRANQUÉS”

Gala Banquet:
The Gala Banquet will be organized in CASA LLOTJA DE MAR, downtown Barcelona, a symbol of gothic and neoclassic architecture in Barcelona (http://www.casallotja.com). The banquet will take place in the room “Saló de Contractacions”, a jewel of civil gothic architecture.
This building is situated very close to Port Vell at the right side of La Rambla (closer Metro stations Jaume I and Barceloneta - L4 yellow line). See in the map the location of CASA LLOTJA DE MAR. Buses will be provided from and back to SERHS HOTEL CAMPUS before and after the Gala Dinner
