Call for Abstracts

Plenary lecturers and authors of contributed papers (oral and posters) are requested to submit an abstract which will be published in the Book of Abstracts of the 11th European Meeting on Supercritical Fluids. The abstracts must be prepared according to Instructions for Authors and submitted by E-mail before 15 November 2007 to:

Authors should indicate their preference for oral or poster presentation. Only a limited number of oral communications can be accepted. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to accept papers and to designate them for oral or poster presentation. Authors will be notified about the acceptance of their papers and/or about the selection for oral contribution before 1 December 2007.
  
Instructions for Authors

The abstracts will be published as submitted. The authors will be responsible for accuracy and layout.
The abstract must be written in English (Font: Times New Roman. Size: 11 points. Spacing: 1.0 line). Print must be black on white A4 paper fitting into a space of 15cm (width) by 24cm (height).
The heading of the abstract must include:

  • The title of the abstract printed in bold CAPITAL LETTERS.
  • The name(s) of the author(s). The name of the presenting author will be underlined.
  • The name of the corresponding author should be indicated with *.
  • Institution (University, Institute or Company) and full mailing address in italic style.
  • E-mail address of the corresponding author.
    All these four items must be separated by a blank space (1.0 line, 12 points) each. Another blank space must appear before the main text of the abstract.
    References will be typed as superscript numbers in the text and between brackets at the end of the abstract.

Oral Presentation
Oral presentations (plenary lectures and oral communications) can be presented with overhead projector sheets or as a MS-PowerPoint presentation.

Poster Presentation
The area available for poster is 95 cm (width) x 140 cm (height). Printing and lettering on the poster should be easily read from a one-meter distance. Affixing material will be available at the Congress site. Two Poster sessions have been scheduled, although the posters can be exposed during the four days of the Meeting.
